Kentucky State Police Post 4 Citizens Police Academy 2009
Kentucky State Police Post 4 hosted the agency's first Citizen's Police Academy in autumn of 2009. Participants were introduced to the many facets of a state police agency. Troopers from the Special Response Team, the K-9 Squad, and the Bomb Squad shared their expertise. Practical exercises included traffic stop scenarios and a ride-along. The ten-week program concluded with a graduation ceremony on December 17, 2009.
